Forgive me for my inactivity for I was really busy with my internship. Now that's over, let me just update you with the things that happened to me for the last few weeks. Prepared to be bored.

Side Note: I actually have 3 blog entries in draft, but I'm still in the middle of writing them. So, feel free to come back and check them!

My Dad and I traded our Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphones (I finally got the white one!), I had all of my files, apps and contacts in reset.

Let's talk about my internship. I don't know if it's safe to tell where I spent my internship during summer because I had good and bad feedbacks, so I guess I'll just mention the locations then.

My classmate, Viel, recruited me to have our internship at Mandaluyong at April 23rd. I had to take the train in order to meet her so that we can go together at the company. Man, it was really scorchin' hot. You can really feel the summer heat; I was drenched with sweat always. I really don't like going outside whenever it's summer since I prefer to stay indoors and take 3-4 showers a day to refreshen myself. At that company, we were assigned to do movie collaterals. It was no problem for me, since I like layouting and editing. What bothered me is that the movies weren't really my cup of tea. It was movies full of gay porn and/or sexual activities. Since I'm an adult and was exposed to 2D and 3D porn (in which I highly blame all of the hentai/eroge videos and games I've seen), I had no choice but to comply with what was assigned to me. But at that time, I was really begging Viel to take me out there and change companies for our OJT (On the Job Training).

Good thing she looked for another company and they're willing to have us become interns in their company. Yes, Hallelujah! Amen!

On the week after, we went to Makati. It was so freakin' hard to go there! But, for the sake of our OJT, we must endure the heat and our sweats to finish this shiz. Good thing our supervisor was super kind and all! I learned that she's an alumnus of my college, so she knows things regarding with our grading system. I was rest assured. I really liked this company. It was like a fashion firm where we were tasked to create their websites, marketing collaterals, edit their product photos from their shoots and many more.

When it was the end of our internship, me and Viel had decided to go to Rockwell and celebrate by eating there. It was really delicious!


I really like to thank my friend, June, for agreeing for my "freelance" job for the sake of this subject. I drew illustrations that can be mascots of our website, The Otaku Talk. As soon as our web hosting has approved and fixed things for our domain to be active, we'll be in touch on our Facebook Page and Twitter account.

I'm so tired. Lately, I'm trying to work my time between my subject requirements. I feel like I'm going to be sick anytime but I try to watch out my health and try not to get any sickness or whatsoever.

It is now becoming my habit to post my entries into a collective one, eh?
I may not be a good blogger, but I thank you all readers and visitors of my blog for taking time to read through my senseless ramblings and nikiventures.

I've been attending seminars like non-stop. I have exceeded the requirements needed for the seminar points for my course, but I like attending to seminars and conferences because I am learning new things with my friends.

Then on Valentines Day, Miru showed up out of the blue and brought me a bouquet of flowers! I was in complete shock! I have this initial gut feeling that he's going to do something flashy, but I'll forgive him for pulling this stunt.

Then we went to a mall to look for my Dad's birthday present. There were so many couples and couple-related things on the mall. It was awkward for both of us, but we still pursued the midst of the couple-filled mall to look for a birthday present and to ourselves for a twinventure. We're both broke, so we just sat down in a cafe after picking up a gift for my Dad and ordered iced tea.

I'll be talking about my boring days in life: school
I mean, this month has been very hectic to me since there were a lot of deadlines and it was our midterms week last week, so I am very drained out.

Yesterday, I met up with Makee and we can to our faces on how much we want to pass out and all. We still continue to do our work. How we envy to those who have graduated last Saturday. To think that most of them used to be our classmates. We are so left behind. -insert awkward laugh here-

Happy Valentines' Day!!
Have you girls given your chocolates to your friends? How about your crush or lover/boyfriend? In my country, it can be the girls or boys give gifts to their cherished ones.

As for me, I really don't give a damn about Valentines Day. Maybe because I don't have a boyfriend yet, or I really don't find it appealing to be celebrated. I mean, all that you can see everywhere are red, hearts, flowers and couples hanging around in your favorite seat in Starbucks. Seeing happy couples on Valentines Day makes me think that I've been independent for 4 years now, but I think that's a good thing.

On Facebook, everyone is like, "Happy Valentines Day!!1!" or "Single Awareness Day!1!!!" while I'm like fixing my content for my thesis for content evaluation on Friday. It seems like the ones mostly posting about "Happy Valentines Day" are the single ones. poporn.gif

I was thinking of having a special cover for Valentines, but then, I really don't know any Valentine song that would fit the mood. Besides, I doubt that I would get it uploaded on time. Let me just post here one of my old covers. This is also my way of promotion, so just listen to it.

I think I did a better job on this rather than the one I uploaded on Youtube. Oh well, no regrets there. I still like the one I uploaded on Youtube.

Talking about dates, I see many people posting up their gifts and dates on their Instagram, which makes me a little bit uncomfortable. These couples, really. I'll never learn the joy of Valentines Day unless I go out to the world and find myself a boyfriend and celebrate that with him.

I'll have a date with this pixelated lover of mine who likes pork noodles, and will hold a grudge upon you if you try to eat his pork noodles. As in, totally.

I think I emphasized too much that I've been single for so long, that I forgot how things usually go for couples. It's not that I don't want a boyfriend, as much I'm really looking to have one, but no one seems to be my type. When people ask about my type, I usually go, "uhh...." and stare at them like a dead fish. I may or may not have high standards for men, but I'll go for someone who can understand me with my weird antics and hobbies, as I tend to be a fujoshi. Now, we can't reveal that to the man or else he'll be scared as shit and treat me like a retarded person. I need to act civil and proper for my age. But then, I tend to be childish and annoying at most times, so I doubt anyone will go that far for me.

Why are we talking about serious things again?

When I was looking at gardenhshs' during my Web Development class before,

Nii immediately noticed the background and asked me, "this is from Butlers' right?" and I was like, "yeah, it was on the disclaimer and I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about" and she started explaining me that it was an otome game and I was intrigued. I asked her if she knows more similar games. Her eyes started twinkling and made our inner fangirl squeal. Her screenshots on her Tumblr didn't help me at all.

So, I started researching some otome games for myself. I really don't have game consoles, so I'm really dejected that most of them were available for PlayStation. But, I never gave up. I tried looking for more otome games that I can play with. And I found out about Voltage Inc.'s line-up of otome games available for smartphone devices. I only had an iPod Touch 4th Generation back then, so I only got to play "My Forged Wedding" (for some reason, the other titles didn't worked for me. Maybe because it's really optimized for iPhones?) and I completely loved it. And recently, I got an Android device so I started buying the other titles.

Having a route for a USD3.99 is good enough, but then I want a full-package game, where all of the character routes are complete and all that you need to do is to play them. Recently, there are a lot of otome games being animated within this year, for example:

I'm sure almost everyone knows them, but for the convenience of first-timers, I put up the summary of the game and do your own research on it.

On one fateful day, August 1, the heroine lost all her memories. In order to gain them back and to ease her pain in remembering, she tries to interact with 'him' hoping to live each day as happily as she can, and to make a bright future with him...

In Amnesia, the male characters that the female player character can interact with are based on the symbolic suit symbols from a playing card deck with the following storylines (commonly known as 'routes') in the game: Heart, Spade, Diamond, Club and Joker. I was surprised that this title had character drama CDs, character songs and other merchandises. I guess, this is well-received in Japan. I had a peek on the gameplay of this game, so I basically know what's going on. Pretty good for someone who doesn't own a PSP, huh? There were very good people on Youtube and other video sharing sites that uploaded their gameplays.

I started discovering more titles, but the ones that made huge impact on me are the R18+ games. (Maybe because when I was 16, I was really stuck into playing to the games that didn't have adult-content, and now that I am on legal age I can browse them more freely and laugh them off) Please don't take me as a pervert. Also, they have unusual storyline(s) so I liked them.

Because, I tend to always blog/tweet things around what's happening in a game, people suddenly followed me on my Tumblr and Twitter. I was really surprised though. I do hope I am failing your expectations. But then, I am only venting out my feelings and not doing a game review, so don't expect anything big on me.

Lately, I've been listening to their drama CDs, and boy, it's really addicting. I passed the baton to my friends and they were acting crazy as I were during 3:00AM. It's bad for the health to listen at such seductive voices at the morning, please do not imitate this unless you're one crazy person like me. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably have seen the time where I spazzed out with Hino Satoshi's yandere voice and all. I'm so sorry with my spams.

So yeah, I like otome games nowadays. (Is it because I still don't have a boyfriend yet? I do lead a very sad life)
